Here are some directions to Twin Brook:

From Lancaster:
Take Route 30 in Lancaster, go East. Stay on 30 as it goes down to 1 lane. Traffic may be slow. At Route 41, make a Right turn. Go up the hill. You will go through a traffic light, then uphill a bit more. Just as you crest the hill, you will turn Left onto Strasburg Road. There is a Turkey Hill mini-mart there. Watch traffic as you turn! Go about 1 mile, the winery is on the left side.
(Note: Rt 30 may be slow, near the Outlets and also along the single lane area for some distance. Not recommended.)

From Northwest of Lancaster:
Route 772: From Manheim, Lititz, Ephrata, and points north of Lancaster: Get onto Route 772 (in Lititz, Manheim, or at Route 222 and Brownstown exit). Take 772 East. You will go through Amish country. There are multiple stop signs. In one town you will veer off to the right fork of a road. Watch for some sharp 90 degree turns in the country. 772 will intersect with Route 30. Turn Left onto 30. Go less than 1 mile and you will intersect with Route 41. Turn Right. Go up the hill. You will go through a traffic light, then uphill a bit more. Just as you crest the hill, you will turn Left onto Strasburg Road. There is a Turkey Hill mini-mart there. Watch traffic as you turn! Go about 1 mile, the winery is on the left side.

From Southwest of Lancaster:
Route 741: From South of Lancaster and points slightly southwest: Route 741 goes from Millersville all the way over to Route 41 in Gap. Get on 741 where ever is convenient. Stay on it, through Strasburg (stay on left fork of road), pass the train museum, and through Amish country. 741 will intersect Route 41 at a T. Turn Right. Go less than 1 mile. Just as you crest the hill, you will turn Left onto Strasburg Road. There is a Turkey Hill mini-mart there. Watch traffic as you turn! Go about 1 mile, the winery is on the left side.

From East of Lancaster:
Turnpike: I believe you can get off the turnpike at Route 10 Morgantown. Take the 10 West or South exit. Stay on Route 10 where it veers off from 23 (bend Left). Stay on 10 until you intersect Route 30. Turn Right.
--You can turn Left onto Swan Road. Then turn Right onto Strasburg Road. The winery is on your Right.
--OR you could stay on 30, turn Left at Route 41, then go up the hill. You will go through a traffic light, then uphill a bit more. Just as you crest the hill, you will turn Left onto Strasburg Road. There is a Turkey Hill mini-mart there. Watch traffic as you turn! Go about 1 mile, the winery is on the left side.

On Route 30:
Take Route 30 West past Coatesville. You will come into Gap.

There is a big gas station at the corner of Route 30 and 41, if you need to fill up.
Watch for buggies, as there are many around these parts.

See maps attached for more detail. Google Maps can find the winery if you enter in 5697 Strasburg Rd, Gap, PA 17527

To get from Twin Brook to the Revere Tavern for the rehearsal dinner:
Go West on Strasburg Road. Turn Right onto Route 41. Go downhill. At the bottom, turn Left onto Route 30. The Revere should be on your Right hand side down about 3 miles.

Info for the out-of-towners:

We don't suggest getting to the winery via Route 30, especially if you are driving from the west. The outlets have a huge amount of traffic on a Saturday. Use Rt 741 or 772.

If you haven't reserved your room, please do so asap. The bed and breakfast Country Patches may have some rooms available and is very close to the winery. Call them at 717-687-5698. There are hotels-a-plenty on Rt. 30 near the outlets area, but the traffic can be heavy. There are numerous b-n-b's and smaller hotels closer to Gap.

If you are staying at the Beiler's BnB (Cotten family mostly) and travelling on Rt 30, going East, keep an eye out for a bright yellow-orange house with blue corner accent bricks (on the right). About 100 yards further, the BnB is on the left side with a very small sign. If you pass a gas station (on the right) you went too far.

NEWS:

3-8-08: The Cottens were up and we spent a day doing errands, getting fitted, buying shoes, and taste testing our menu foods. Yum!

1-20-08: We picked our cake bakery, a local woman from Mt. Joy. She seemed very competent and had a yummy selection of cakes. One store we visited had only boring white cake with flavored frostings, the other didn't want to take my special request.

1-10-08: We did some registry shopping at LNT. Still working on home building ideas.

10-13-07: We went to AC Moores to get some decorations, since orange is the in-color for the month! We are working on the save-the-date cards and they'll be out soon.

10-1-07: We picked out videographer today, Hartman Productions.

9-8-07: Amanda has bought a dress! She found it at a smaller store when her mom came up a couple weeks ago. Of course I (Chris) have not seen it or even heard a detailed description.

In case you were wondering, the official colors are light-medium green, orange, with a spash of silver and or gold.

We've also decided on The Olde Greenfield Inn to do the catering. Ray is a nice guy and gave us everything laid out easily to understand. They have also been to the winery before, so they will know their way around and know what they need.

Chris decided on his groomsman and Amanda has her bridesmaids also.

We're trying (not very hard though) to get some 'save the date' cards together.

My friend Mike Miville is going to be our photographer. Check out his site!

8-13-07: We are looking at caterers now and need to find the best bang for the buck. We'll know soon though.

7-18-07: We have a DJ picked, we are using the same DJ that Adriana had at the wedding. She was good and we all had fun dancing. She is just in Mountville up from Clipper! Diane Dayton.

6-26-07: We picked a location (Twin Brook) and a date. We have to send the deposit and get a confirmation. We have a photographer, and think we have picked a DJ also, but still need to actually get the DJ for the day. I'll have lots of pix from our locations posted for everyone to see the various sites.

6-13-07: We are going to start looking at some venues for the wedding in the next week or two, pick one, and pick a date.

5-20-07: Currently we are working on the guest list. No date has been set
